Scottish Golf × Bigger Ball
Learn to Golf is Scottish Golf's national coaching programme, developed in partnership with the PGA. It takes junior golfers on a structured journey across 5 progressive levels, each one building confidence, skills, and a genuine love for the game.
Bigger Ball have worked with Scottish Golf to create a custom bag tag where participants can add their own reward stickers for achieving each level.
WHAT IS LEARN TO GOLF?
Within each of the five levels, there are five core modules, which focus on developing the whole player. These modules, illustrated in the diagram adjacent, can be used by
coaches to enhance the player’s learning experience, from developing golf knowledge, to softer elements such as mind matters.
The programme is inclusive and coach-friendly, providing all the tools needed to motivate young players to grow, progress, and truly belong on the course.
Modules & Objectives
Every level is built around five core modules, blending technical golf skills with positive life skills that young players carry far beyond the course.
Physical Skills
Speed, agility, co-ordination and balance - the athletic foundations of a great golf game.
Golf Skills
Putting, chipping, pitching, full swing and bunker play developed progressively across levels.
Mind Matters
Self-confidence, perseverance and resilience - learning to enjoy challenges and bounce back.
On The Course
Real-world play preparation with fun team and individual competitions from the very start.
Golf Knowledge
Rules, etiquette, equipment and safety - everything a junior needs to feel at home on any course.
How BIGGER BALL Are Involved?
Bigger Ball is proud to be a partner in bringing Learn to Golf to life for juniors across Scotland. We add something tangible and exciting for every young golfer on the programme.
BIGGER BALL Bag Tags
Every junior who joins Learn to Golf through a BIGGER BALL partner club receives their very own bag tag - a personalised token that marks their entry into the programme and travels everywhere their bag does.
It's their badge of belonging. Something real they can hold, show off, and be proud of from day one.
Sticker Progression
As juniors advance through each of the 5 levels, they collect stickers on their bag tag to mark their progress. Each sticker represents a milestone earned, a visible, rewarding record of their golfing journey.
Stickers create excitement, friendly competition, and something to aim for every single session.

This coaching platform provides a flexible, tailored pathway that integrates with existing programs and features a collaborative library of over 200 activities. Coaches can efficiently track junior golfers through five skill levels using a central player management system. The curriculum balances golf fundamentals, etiquette, movement, and mindset, rewarding progress and fostering holistic development.

I love these tees - they are good quality and strong enough not to break
These blue tees are the correct height for my 3 wood so would recommend them to everyone.
Have currently been using bamboo tees this year as I was told they were better and don't break so easily. I am really pleased with them, I use the pink, yellow, blue and red ones but still prefer the broken tees for my irons.
Striped were out of stock so I bought these. Work just fine

Great tees and helping to avoid leaving any plastic on the course
These are really well designed (the shorter than normal pointed end is great), and so much better than plastic. They are the only tee I use for my driver.
But please, can you ship to Australia?!
